I've met several, now legendary, personalities in my life. I owe to my Master Jim Fung the inspiration and idea of devoting myself to Wing Chun as a teacher and to legendary Wing Chun Grandmaster Chu Shong Tin for his legacy that fascinates many Wing Chun enthusiasts from around the world, including me. For me, Wing Chun is a journey that I enjoy every step of it, also because after each summit I manage to climb, there is waiting another one, which is even higher.

I got to Wing Chun from a purely boyish passion for martial arts. Training brings me joy for two reasons; firstly, because of how I feel during and after training, and secondly, it gives me the opportunity to pass on my knowledge and experience to others.

I started practicing Wing Chun martial art out of the curiosity that inspired in me first Ip Man movie. In the beginning, I took the lessons as a diversification of my life, until then stereotyped, and that was how I approached it. No need for deeper understanding of its principles, just relaxation and fun. Over time, I came to a stage where I began to perceive the art of Wing Chun deeper in relation to the functioning of body and mind, their mutual synchronization and harmony. Today I can say that the art of Wing Chun and working on myself have become an everyday part of my life. I believe it has made me a better person, both physically and mentally. Indeed, it should be, in my opinion, the only and true goal of teaching and learning martial arts like Wing Chun.

Practicing the CST Wing Chun is a heart thing for me. Controlling one's body and mind is the greatest challenge that has kept me pushing my limits over the years. Improving your fighting, physical and mental fitness is above all fun that will simply engulf you.

I fight so I don't have to fight.

Wing Chun is not a fight or a path to it for me, but a path to inner peace, mental balance and physical well-being. Finally, Wing chun has become my lifestyle.

What originally attracted me to the Wing Chun was my interest of Eastern philosophies. I have never been interested in fights or fighting sports competitions. I began to train with the intention to exercise, meaningfully and without knowing what this would ever bring me. Time has passed and I began to understand that kung fu (Wing Chun) is starting to make other sense than just learning martial arts techniques (or rather skills), but it opens the way to self-awareness both from outside and inside. By exercising, patience and diligence, every external obstacle is transformed into an inner obstacle. Kung-fu leads to life of self-discipline, which through conquest of the enemy ultimately leads to finding oneself, to achieving its own balance.

Until I started to train Wing Chun, I didn't know anything that really captivated me and motivated me to overcome myself. For me, Wing Chun is a great way to get rid of stress in everyday life and to work on myself systematically and in the long term.
