Wing Chun Personalities

We train with the best

Below we present all the masters and prominent personalities of CST Wing Chun, whom we regularly meet and train both at seminars in Prague and during our training stays abroad.

All of them are part of the CST Wing Chun family, and each of us, in a specific way of their personality and character, shares their perspective, experience, and methods of achieving the highest standards in the martial art we have all succumbed to. You must experience that.

Mark Ho

Most experienced instructor from SUNG Wing Chun, Sheffield, UK.

Mark Ho, along with Daniel Parr and Jonathan Jones, began Wing Chun with Master William Lai, a direct student of Master Chu Shong Tin (CST). Thanks to him, they had the opportunity to get acquainted with CST and regularly visited him in Hong Kong. Since Mark Ho is a native speaker of Cantonese, they had the opportunity to check all the information at source and to develop a unique program that captures the principles of CST Wing Chun, understandably for Western people. Today, they regularly organize an annual event where they pass on this unique method to people from other Wing Chun lineages. Their goal is to convey the legacy of CST in its pure form.

Nima King

Probably the most famous personality of CST Wing Chun of today.

After five years of intensive training (8 hours a day) at the Master Jim Fung International Wing Chun Academy (IWCA) in Australia, he had the opportunity to attend a CST seminar where he served as a helper. After the incredible experience of his demonstrations, he decided to go to Hong Kong to learn more about this revolutionary method, which gave the old master unstoppable and enormous power. From the original plan to stay for two to three months, the journey stretched to the nine years. Nima had been training everyday for many hours, just as CST began the last phase of his teaching. He continues to pass the CST legacy to the present day, with Sebastian Soza in Hong Kong leading the Mindful Wing Chun School, organizing seminars around the world, making video tutorials. We had the opportunity to meet him at his seminar during our training stay in Hong Kong or at the training directly in CST Alumni.

Alex Man

Direct student of Grand Master Chu Shong Tin (CST)

We regularly visit Master Alex Man in Hong Kong, where he and his wife, Kitty, run a school and organize regular open-air meetings of inner styles (mostly Wing Chun and Tai Chi) at the local Polytechnic University. He is known for his cheerful character and boyish fondness for traditional weapons (he has a collection of different swords and a long pole, some of which can hardly be lifted). Alex has 35 years of experience with CST and holds seminars in Australia, Sheffield and Prague.

Peter Wong

Chief instructor of CST Alumni.

He lives in Macau, teaches CST Wing Chun in Macau and Hong Kong.

40+ years of experience, friendly nature and no secrets.

His Prague seminar with Horace Chu was an unforgettable experience.

Horace Chu

Son of Grand Master Chu Shong Tin (CST), Wing Chun Master

Horace Chu leads his father's CST Alumni school in Hong Kong, where he teaches and passes the legacy of CST. In addition to the lessons at the Alumni School, he travels around the world and organizes seminars. We had the opportunity to organize a several-day seminar of him and Peter Wong in Wing Chun Prague, for the occasion of Sifu Dalibor Kuběna's birthday.
